Pricing model

Description

Standard

Charge a fixed price for each individual unit of a product or service. For example, a gym might charge a flat fee of $30 per month for unlimited access to all fitness classes. This model can be used for either one-time or recurring payments.

Package

Charge a fixed price for a group or bundle of units, rather than charging per individual unit. For example, a coffee roaster might offer a bundle of 4 coffee bean bags for $20. Purchases are rounded up by default, so a customer buying 6 coffee bean bags will be charged $40.

Volume

Charge a fixed rate per unit based on the total volume purchased. For example, a ketchup supplier might charge $10 per unit for orders of 0 to 50 bottles, but only $5 per unit for orders of 100 or more.

Graduated

Charge different rates for consumption within each usage tier, allowing customers to pay progressively higher or lower prices only for the units that fall within each tier. For instance, a printing service might charge $2 per print for the first 100 copies, then $1.50 per print for the next 50 copies.
